Any person is hereby authorized to view the information available from this web site for informational purposes only. No part of this information may be redistributed, copied, or reproduced without the prior written consent of Connecticut Community Bank, N.A. (the “Bank”). The product information presented on this web site represents the Bank’s offerings as of the most recent update. Rules, Regulations, Fee Schedules, Deposit Account Agreements and other Service Agreements currently in effect take precedence over any information herein. Password and Security Procedures

Upon becoming a Customer using our online banking product(s), you will select a password which will allow you access to your Deposit Account information. Use of the password will indicate to the Bank your acceptance of the terms and conditions governing your Deposit Account(s) and this Agreement and if applicable, the Online Banking Agreement, the Bill Payment Service terms and conditions and the Mobile Banking Agreement (should you choose to download and use our mobile banking product). Any transactions, including, but not limited to accessing Deposit Account information, making transfers, giving transfer-related instructions or utilizing the bill payment service, initiated by You, the Customer or person(s) on behalf of a Commercial Customer, by entering the correct password is deemed as acting with full authority of the Board of Directors, members or general partners, as applicable, of the Commercial Customer. Each time you access Deposit Account information, make transfers or give transfer-related instructions, you will be required to enter your password.

In addition to obtaining a password, when you become an Online Banking Customer, you will select a number of security challenge questions to which you will supply appropriate answers. You may change your password at any time.  At all times, the Bank reserves the right to present one or more of these challenge questions whenever the Service is accessed using your user name and password. If the answers to the challenge questions do not match previously provided answers, access to the Service will be denied.  The Bank may choose to provide additional security measures, such as the use of a one-time-passcode (“OTP”) to authenticate you and your use of our online banking products, including the mobile banking product.  At any time, the Bank reserves the right to restrict and/or deny your access to any online banking product or service, including the mobile banking product.

You agree to take reasonable precautions to safeguard your credentials and devices by using the most-up-to-date versions of your browser, by maintaining a current operating system and maintaining anti-malware/spyware/virus protection on your device(s).

If your password is lost or stolen or is known/obtained by unauthorized individual, you must notify the Bank immediately. Failure to notify the Bank promptly could result in loss of funds. You are responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of your User ID and password and all of the devices that you use to access any of the Bank’s products or services and any breach of confidentiality shall promptly be reported to the Bank. You agree to be responsible for all actions taken by anyone that has obtained and used your credentials, such as your User ID, password or other security measures the Bank has implemented.  You assume all risks and losses associated with the use of your credentials, whether authorized or not by you.

You may contact the Bank at 866-831-9892 to report such a security breach or potential security breach or any suspected unauthorized transactions(s). The Bank reserves the right to prevent your access to a product or service should we have reason to believe the confidentiality of your User ID, password or any other security measure that has been compromised.

You understand that the Bank has implemented security procedures for the purpose of verifying the authenticity of the payment instructions transmitted to the Bank by you, and not for the purpose of detecting errors in such instructions. Such security procedures include (i) a unique file identification number and transmission password, (ii) challenge questions and required responses and (iii) encryption. You agree that these procedures constitute reasonable methods of providing security against unauthorized instructions. You agree to be bound by any instruction issued by you and received and verified by the Bank in accordance with such security procedures.  You agree to indemnify, defend and hold the Bank harmless from and against any loss suffered or liability incurred by, or arising from, the execution of instructions in good faith and in compliance with such security procedures.
