Employees participated in another successful Abilis walk in October! We enjoyed some great weather while supporting our friends at Abilis.
Greenwich branch manager, Carrie Bundock, recently donated yoga mats to Family Centers in Greenwich. The yoga mats will help Family Centers promote mental health awareness via yoga class during thier financial literacy classrooms. We are proud to help provide meaningful change and improvements to lives in our local communities.
Fairfield branch manager, Bill Hanson, recently presented a check to Hall Neighborhood House to support their After School Program. The program provides daily access to homework help, art activities and nutritious snacks while providing youths with a safe place to play. We’re proud to help Hall Neighborhood House carry out thier mission and make a meaningful impact in our communities.
We recently participated in the Homes for the Brave’s Step Out for the Brave step challenge. We took many exhausting steps to support our local veterans. Way to go everyone!
Our friends at Star, Inc. enjoyed an ice cream social with several of our employees. We don’t believe there were any leftovers at the end of the afternoon!
Our Darien Bank and Trust manager, Laurie Griffith, recently presented toilet paper, paper towels , facial tissue and lots of laundry soap to Darien Human Services. 2,980 loads of laundry soap.
Westport Branch Manager, Bill Hanson, recently presented a check to Burroughs Community Center for the purchases of dual monitors for their VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program. This will help with the preparation of thousands of tax returns in the community.
Norwalk Branch Manager, Dean Trombetta, presented 2 iPads to Person to Person in Norwalk to help with scheduling their clients and volunteers. We are pleased to help make a positive impact and support an organization that provides essential resources to those in need in our communities.
Connecticut Community Bank recently walked for Connecticut Foodshare’s Walk against hunger event. What a great day!
Stamford Bank and Trust manager, Juan Anes, presented a wireless microphone system to Building One Community. The system will be used in the English and Adult Literacy program. Building One Community’s mission is to advance the successful integration of immigrants and their families.
