We are honored that our Norwalk Bank and Trust branch office received the Greater Norwalk Chamber 2026 Professional Services Award!

Congratulations and thank you to branch manager Dean Trombetta and the Norwalk team for their dedication, professionalism and commitment to serving our clients and our community everyday.

We were grateful to stand along with the other community award winners who’s recognition is a reflection of their hard work and passion.

What a great evening celebrating one of our team members, Anna DiDomenico, for receiving the 2026 Denise “Denny” Taft Davidoff Empowerment Award from Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County. This recognition reflects her dedication to championing women to achieve their full potential and strengthening our communities.

It was also an evening to celebrate all the work Dress for Success provides to women in our communities, thank you for all you do!

Teddy Bear Drive

Our recent Teddy Bear Drive was an overwhelming success! A big thank you to all our customers and employees who donated over 950 teddy bears and stuffed animal. The stuffed animals were given to local non-profits and the Teddy Bear Brigade Charity.

The Teddy Bear Brigade Charity is a Gleaning For The World program that rehomes over 575,000 stuffed animals annually to children in crisis, both in the U.S. and more than 30 countries worldwide.

    Our Greenwich branch manager, Carrie Bundock  recently donated “The Kids Guide to Money and Wealth” to the  The Family Centers Literacy Program.  The Bank meet with the children to read the book and discuss the topic of savings.   Thank you to Carrie and The Family Centers for all you do for our communities!

    Volunteer day at Connecticut Foodshare

    This week our staff had the honor of volunteering at Connecticut FoodShare for our Volunteer Day. Together with other volunteers, we packed over 8,400 Ibs of food that will help prepare over 7,000 meals for those in need.

    A huge thank you to Connecticut Foodshare for letting us come and help!

    Free Community Shred Day

    Success!!

    Over 80 local businesses and individuals showed up for our Community Shred Day at our Riverside branch office. Together with On-Site Shredding we securely shred more than 4 tons of old documents!

    Thank you to everyone who participated in helping protect our community from identity theft and safely disposing of sensitive information.

    Bank donation to Family Centers of Greenwich of books, airplane kits and birdhouse kits for their Spring Family Literacy Program.

    Our Greenwich branch recently helped Family Centers in Greenwich with their Spring Family Literacy program! We donated birdhouse and airplane kits for the families to be creative with the reading of “Unflappable”.

    We also donated books to the center from our recent book drive. What better way to start the spring season than with the gift of reading!

These gifts will be sure to brighten the holidays for families in need.   Darien Human Services provides a wide variety of services, including supportive counseling,  crisis intervention, assistance with mental health, substance abuse and domestic violence issues.   Thank you for all you do for our communities!

Pacific House serves the community with the mission of preventing and ending homelessness. Thank you for all you do.

    Barbara's House Turkey Donation

    Jenniffer Yan, Greenwich Bank and Trust Riverside branch manager and David Moore, Director of Government Guaranteed Lending were pleased to donate 85 turkeys to Barbara’s House in Greenwich. Each year, with the help of volunteers of all ages, Barbara’s House prepares special Thanksgiving meals for over 100 families.  This year, Connecticut Community Bank proudly contributed 85 turkeys to help provide a delicious Thanksgiving dinner to those in need in our community. 

    Assisting with the delivery of the turkeys were Fred Camillo, Town of Greenwich First Selectman and Gabby Rattner, Barbara’s House Executive Director.

    Barbara’s House is a social service agency dedicated to building skills that empower clients to overcome educational, social, and economic barriers so that they can reach their full potential. Thank you for all you do in our communities!
