This week our staff had the honor of volunteering at Connecticut FoodShare for our Volunteer Day. Together with other volunteers, we packed over 8,400 Ibs of food that will help prepare over 7,000 meals for those in need.

Over 80 local businesses and individuals showed up for our Community Shred Day at our Riverside branch office. Together with On-Site Shredding we securely shred more than 4 tons of old documents!
Thank you to everyone who participated in helping protect our community from identity theft and safely disposing of sensitive information.

Step by Step, making a difference!
We’re thrilled to share that the Connecticut Community Bank employees took an incredible 3,891,510 steps in the Homes for the Brave Step- Up Challenge – earning 2nd place in the team competition. Every step supported veterans in our communities and we couldn’t be prouder of our employees!

Our Fairfield branch manager, Bill Hanson, recently made a back pack donation to Bridgeport Rescue Mission for their Back to School Block Party. Wishing success to all those children returning to school – have a great year!


We were proud to be part of the Bridgeport Caribe Youth Leaders’ annual gala! Their mission is to provide youth with sports, educational and civic direction helping them build the character and self-esteem they need to reach their full potential and value in society.
A big shout out for all you do to inspire and empower the youth in our communities.


Our Greenwich branch recently helped Family Centers in Greenwich with their Spring Family Literacy program! We donated birdhouse and airplane kits for the families to be creative with the reading of “Unflappable”.
We also donated books to the center from our recent book drive. What better way to start the spring season than with the gift of reading!

Connecticut Community Bank employees walked in the Bigelow Tea Community Challenge event. The event raises money that helps ensure 23 local charities can deliver important programs that provide educational services, food, housing, safe places, crisis counseling and afterschool tutoring and recreational programs to local communities. Thank you to our employees and Bigelow Tea for all you do in our communities.


Our employees of the Greenwich office recently donated Zumba jingle bands and the children’s book “The Busy Body Book – A Kid’s Guide to Fitness, to Family Center’s Fall Literacy and Fitness Program. There are a total of 30 students and their parents in the class the the program combines reading together and learning about health and fitness. Thank you for all you do in our communities!


Our Fairfield branch manager, Bill Hanson, recently donated $500 to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission for the purchase of Covid test kits. Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s vision is to provide food, safe housing, clothing, education, job training and counseling to neighbors in need. Thank you for all you do for our communities!


Team CCB participated in the Homes for the Brave’s 10th Annual Step Up for The Brave Challenge. 20 employees walked and climbed steps around the arena to support Homes for the Brave and our local veterans! We’re already practicing for next year!


Our Greenwich branch manager, Carrie Bundock and assistant branch manager, Maria Camacho, recently volunteered with The Family Centers Literacy Program at the New Lebanon School . They donated “I Am Money”, for the families to read, and discussed the various financial scams that they need to be aware of. Thank you for all you do for our communities!


Fairfield Branch Manager enjoyed the morning reading to classes at New Beginnings Family Academy. New Beginnings Family Academy is a public charter school for students in grades Pre-K through 6th, located in Bridgeport, CT. Their mission is to provide students with a meaningful, high-quality education through experience-based learning that helps them develop essential social, emotional, and critical-thinking skills.


Riverside branch manager Jenniffer Yan collected and donated undergarments for The Undies Project. The Undies Project provides new underwear to women, men and children in need to improve their lives. Thank you for all you do for our communities!


Our InsurBanc division recently helped Connecticut Foodshare sort 4,140 pounds of food for local communities!
