Our Westport branch was happy to help fill the food pantry shelves for the holidays at Homes with Hope. Homes with Hope provides emergency shelter for men and women, supportive housing for individuals and families, rapid re-housing, diversion services, a community kitchen, food pantry, youth development and mentoring. Our Greenwich Bank and Trust managers, Carrie Bundock and Jenniffer Yan were happy to donate a large supply of diapers to Neighbor to Neighbor in Greenwich. Neighbor to Neighbor strengthens the community by providing access to nutritious food, clothing and other essentials in an atmosphere of kindness and respect. Our Fairfield branch manager Bill Hanson and Director of Retail Banking John Slater were thrilled to donate a Little Tikes adventure zone to Hall Neighborhood House in Bridgeport. The children are going to have amazing adventures together! Hall Neighborhood House has been serving Bridgeport for 135 years, providing services to infants, children, youth, families and seniors. Connecticut Community Bank employees walked in the Bigelow Tea Community Challenge event. The event raises money that helps ensure 23 local charities can deliver important programs that provide educational services, food, housing, safe places, crisis counseling and afterschool tutoring and recreational programs to local communities. Our employees of the Greenwich office recently donated Zumba jingle bands and the children’s book “The Busy Body Book – A Kid’s Guide to Fitness, to Family Center’s Fall Literacy and Fitness Program. There are a total of 30 students and their parents in the class the the program combines reading together and learning about health and fitness. Thank you for all you do in our communities!
Our Fairfield branch manager, Bill Hanson, recently donated $500 to the Bridgeport Rescue Mission for the purchase of Covid test kits. Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s vision is to provide food, safe housing, clothing, education, job training and counseling to neighbors in need. Thank you for all you do for our communities!
Team CCB participated in the Homes for the Brave’s 10th Annual Step Up for The Brave Challenge. 20 employees walked and climbed steps around the arena to support Homes for the Brave and our local veterans! We’re already practicing for next year!
Our Greenwich branch manager, Carrie Bundock and assistant branch manager, Maria Camacho, recently volunteered with The Family Centers Literacy Program at the New Lebanon School .
